The annual Women in Transport membership survey was launched in September 2025 and was open until the end of October. We had 180 responses in total (around 10% of members). Our thanks to Carmen Olensinki who again volunteered her time to draft, launch and analyse the survey.

Women in Transport is delighted to announce the launch of the fourth year of Advance - a mentoring programme designed exclusively to support the professional development of our members. Advance offers structured mentoring for women working in transport. Launched in 2017, the programme has supported 160 mentees and mentors to date. Advance 2021 has been made possible with the generous support of TXM Recruit, Xanta Rail and Network for Skills.

It was a lucky day for Women in Transport when Dorcas Ariyo-Francis became a member just over a year ago. She came along to our AGM and, by the end of the evening, pledged to join our team of volunteers. As our Volunteer Engagement Lead, Dorcas has done a really professional job co-ordinating and supervising our team of volunteers for which I, as Events Lead, am truly grateful. But it doesn't end there. Dorcas is something of a hybrid and has been supporting our members with her fantastic range of skills.
