We wanted to provide an update on the Women’s Safety research project. This work is being led by two of our incredible volunteers who have already invested a significant amount of time, expertise and passion into shaping this important programme.
Our Chair, Jade Neville, is currently managing an exceptionally heavy workload, including extensive travel commitments through to June. Our volunteer Vice Chair, Susan Leadbetter, has also had to take a period of medical leave and now needs time and space to focus on her recovery. We fully support both of them in prioritising their wellbeing.
Given these circumstances, we are pausing work on the project and reassessing the timelines to ensure that we can deliver the quality, insight and engagement that this topic deserves.
Our intention remains unchanged:
to host the project workshops,
deliver the whitepaper, and
convene a roundtable
However, these activities are now likely to take place in Autumn/Winter of this year, rather than the Spring/Summer timeframe originally planned.
Thank you for your understanding, patience and continued support as we navigate this temporary pause. We remain deeply committed to progressing this vital work and will share further updates as soon as we are able.
