Women in Transport is delighted to announce that our esteemed partners, RHA, have renewed their partnership with us for the fifth year running.
The RHA was founded in 1945. Currently with 8,500 members and covering over 80,000 commercial vehicles, the RHA is the largest dedicated trade association in the UK for HGV, LGV and coach. They campaign on a breadth of priorities including changes to legislation, rising fuel costs, better roadside facilities, and the transition to a Net Zero transport system. They are committed to improving and encouraging diversity not only in the RHA itself but across the membership and sector as a whole.
Sonya Byers, CEO at Women in Transport, commented on the renewal:
"We are truly delighted that RHA has renewed its partnership with Women in Transport for the fifth consecutive year. Our collaboration with RHA continues to be one of real substance and shared purpose, grounded in a commitment to building a more inclusive, forward‑thinking and resilient transport sector.
We are especially grateful for RHA’s invaluable support in our work on the Intergenerational Workforces Whitepaper, which is helping the industry better understand and respond to the evolving needs of a multi‑generational workforce. Their insight and engagement have been instrumental in this work that will benefit organisations across the transport landscape.
We are also thrilled to have RHA’s backing as we progress our digital transformation, including the implementation of our new Association Management software. This investment in our future will strengthen our ability to serve our members, enhance our operational efficiency and ensure we remain a modern, agile and connected organisation.
We look forward to another year of meaningful collaboration with RHA as we continue working together to champion diversity, support our members and drive positive change across the transport industry."
Clare Murphy, Head of HR at RHA added:
“Women in Transport provides truly inspirational and empowering initiatives that our colleagues and membership engage with to develop their thinking. We are delighted to continue our partnership into a fifth year supporting and promoting an inclusive transport sector”
