Women in Transport is delighted to announce renewal of our established partnership with UKTram.
UKTram represents an alliance of the UK's tram and light rail industry, dedicated to advancing and integrating light rail as a crucial component of urban transport. Their work spans advocacy, innovation, and collaboration with operators, local government bodies, manufacturers, and consultants. It also continues to focus on decarbonisation, modal shift, and accessibility for all while aiding the sector's growth, new scheme development, training, careers, and ED&I.
Sonya Byers, CEO at Women in Transport, commented about the renewal:
“We truly value our strong relationship with UKTram and are thrilled to continue working together. Since the beginning of our partnership in 2023, their unwavering support has been instrumental in helping us raise awareness and visibility of the work that Women in Transport does. I’m grateful to James Hammett and his brilliant team for helping us promote greater inclusivity across the light rail sector. We look forward to building on this momentum and driving positive change together.”
James Hammett, Managing Director, UKTram
