We’re proud to announce the new partnership between Women in Transport and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) a milestone for gender equality and inclusive leadership across our region. This partnership reflects the Combined Authority's ongoing commitment to fostering a fairer, more diverse organisation, supported by initiatives such as our Equality Champions programme and People Strategy, which focuses on creating an environment where everyone can thrive.
To celebrate the partnership, the Combined Authority hosted a festive collaborative networking event in December, bringing together three powerful women’s networks: Women in Transport, Women in Coach & Bus, and LCRCA Women Together.
The event showcased the energy, talent and ambition of women across the transport portfolio, demonstrating that when networks unite, collaboration becomes our greatest strength.
Event lead Janet Roach praised the spirit behind the celebration,
“I am extremely proud to have been a part of this event, huge thanks to everyone involved, those who organised, attended and shared their experiences. By building these networks and keeping the dialogue going, we’re creating real momentum for change across the Liverpool City Region.”
