Clare Murphy- Head of HR- RHA
As part of our wellbeing strategy at RHA, on 15 July 2026, we will formally launch the RHA Wellbeing Charter, a long-term commitment to improving the health, resilience and wellbeing of people working across the coach, van and haulage sectors. The Charter has been developed in response to the growing challenges facing the industry, recognising that a successful and sustainable transport sector depends on supporting the people at its heart. Built around six key pillars – Mental Wellbeing, Leadership and Resilience, Connecting with Others, Exercise and Physical Activity, Food and Nutrition, and Learning and Development – the Charter provides a practical framework to help individuals and organisations create positive change.
The launch will bring together industry leaders, operators, policymakers, charities, and commercial partners to demonstrate a shared commitment to improving wellbeing across the sector. It marks the beginning of a ten-year ambition to create one million moments of positive impact, supporting individuals to thrive both personally and professionally.
The RHA Wellbeing Charter is designed to be inclusive, collaborative and industry led. By working together, we can help create healthier workplaces, stronger communities, and a more resilient workforce, ensuring the road transport industry remains an attractive and rewarding sector for future generations.
