Our Advance sponsor's, Xanta, support towards Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

January 21, 2026 in Partnerships

At Xanta, we believe progress in transport comes from investing in, and supporting, people, not just infrastructure. We have the honour of sponsoring Women In Transport’s Advance Mentoring Scheme.

This endeavour promotes career development of women, in a male-dominated industry.  The organisations broader aims – of fostering equity and fairness for everyone -is helped by people further along in their career sharing their experience with others.

Xanta has sponsored the scheme for around 10 years, with our Director Matthew Regan himself a mentor several times during this period.  He is now Women in Transport Company Secretary and a board member; several of Xanta’s employees and associates are also Women in Transport members.

Championing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion an obligation for conscientious organisations in the industry and an investment in the long-term health of the sector by supporting the growth of the influencers and leaders of the future.

The majority of Xanta's work is in rail, supplying engineering, project and operational management, often through provision of engineering experts.  We support several charities, including “Railway Children”, which assists street children globally, and in the UK, the Shelter housing charity.  In 2019 we partnered with Tower Hamlets Volunteer Centre, becoming their first significant corporate sponsor.

If you have any questions on Xanta, please contact Matthew Regan via email: matthew.regan@xanta.co.uk or visit our website www.xanta.co.uk

Our partnership packages are a flexible and accessible way to support Women in Transport and your organisation's equity, diversity and inclusion objectives. Learn more about our partnership opportunities here and contact us if you would like a meeting to discuss how we can work together.
