We’re delighted our Chair, Jo Field, has won the prestigious ‘Public Affairs Woman of the Year’ award at this year’s PRCA Public Affairs Awards.
This is the only dedicated awards ceremony in the UK for the public affairs industry and showcases some of the excellent work from the sector over the past year.
Commenting on her win, Jo said: “I’m honoured to be named as Public Affairs Woman of the Year.
“This win not only reflects my work in championing diversity, but also the hard work of my colleagues at Women in Transport and my team at JFG Communications. I’d like to thank Women in Public Affairs for sponsoring this award; it’s so important to shine a light on the achievements of women in public affairs. Working across two male-dominated industries – transport and public affairs – I’m well aware of the responsibilities of senior leaders like me to speak out and create platforms for change. This recognition means I can give a greater voice to the important issue of improving gender balance in both industries.”
To be recognised as Woman of the Year, Jo had to demonstrate her achievements in several categories including performance, people and business practices and creativity.
The winners were announced at an awards ceremony in London on Wednesday 25th February. Read the full list of 2026 finalists.
