UKTram’s commitment to developing talent, evidenced through their support for their members to actively participate in our Lead and Advance programmes. I am grateful for the incredible support that we have received from the whole team at UKTram in helping us spread awareness and visibility of our work and their active participation and support in our events and at industry events across the UK. Reflecting on where I am now compared to six months ago, I honestly can't put into words the value and benefit it's brought me. It's given me confidence and the opportunity to learn from an incredible mentor.
I'm proud that UKTram continues to support Women in Transport and the important work they do to help people grow and connect and across the transport sector."
James Hammett, Managing Director of UKTram, said:
"The future of light rail depends on attracting and developing talented people from all backgrounds. Women in Transport plays a vital role in this, and its commitment to building a more inclusive and representative industry continually inspires us as at UKTram to think about what more we can do to support this.
We've seen first-hand the impact their programmes and events have on individuals and organisations alike, and we look forward to continuing to work together for many years to come."
