April 28, 2025 in Team Profile

Current job title

Director

What does your current job involve?

I help clients tackle various challenges in and around their finance function - from helping them develop budgets and forecasts, improve or change finance processes or implement a new a finance system. As part of this, I lead and manage teams and undertake business development activities.

What's the best thing about your job?

There is always an interesting project to get stuck into…rarely are two days ever the same!

How did you become involved in the transport industry?

Like many people I’ve spoken to, it was not planned! I had moved to a new team and the first project I delivered with that team was for a Transport client and it grew from there.

What do you like about working in transport?

Transport has a direct impact on our everyday lives and to me, that makes the work more tangible and rewarding.

What are you most proud of?

I’ve worked on a range of projects over my career in transport and the proudest moments are often when I’ve achieved success as part of a team.

Why did you join Women in Transport?

At the time, I had just started working with Transport clients and this was a great way to expand my network and meet other industry-focused professionals.

What is your role on the board?

Memberships Lead

What do you enjoy most about being part of Women in Transport?

I really enjoy the mix of professional and personal development activities, unique site visits and the opportunity to share experiences with such a wonderful and supportive community.
