Share your experiences of working in the transport industry

We had a great response to our survey but we are keen to receive an equal response on this from men in the transport sector to provide a rich comparative dataset. We would be grateful if you could spare ten minutes to take part in our anonymous survey and share your experiences and perceptions of working in the transport industry.
As part of our role as Secretariat to the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Women in Transport, we are researching women’s experiences and perceptions of working in the transport industry. There is currently very little data or insight into women working in transport, so this research will be truly groundbreaking. It will help inform the APPG’s work to tackle the underrepresentation of women in the transport industry and give us a snapshot of what it’s like to be a woman in this sector.
The research is being carried out by JFG Communications and Dr Hebba Haddad and will look at women’s perceptions of the transport industry, including culture, career opportunities, and gender issues. We are also keen to hear how the pandemic has affected your role and your views on the future of transport.
We’re keen to compare the experiences and perceptions of both men and women in the industry, so we welcome responses from everyone.
The findings will be published in a report for the APPG in the Spring and will be presented to parliamentarians.
In addition to our survey results, the publication will include case studies of recruitment initiatives that have been successful in improving gender balance in our sector. If you have a case study to share, please contact Becky@jfgcomms.co.uk
