Women in Transport welcomes new partnership with Eurovia UK

On International Women’s Day, we are delighted to announce a new partnership with Eurovia UK. The partnership will see 30 free membership places offered by Eurovia UK to women, and men, across its business.

The partnership demonstrates Eurovia UK’s commitment to improving and encouraging diversity in their own businesses and across the transport sector as a whole. It will provide people from across its businesses with an opportunity to be part of a professional network that is championing the role of women and the value of a diverse workforce – just one of many measures they are investing in to strengthen their position on diversity and inclusion.

Membership of Women in Transport provides exclusive access to an extensive events programme including behind the scenes tours, professional development workshops, networking opportunities and access to the All Party Parliamentary Group for women in transport. Our mentoring programme also offers members the chance to learn and receive guidance from experienced figures in the transport sector, as well as providing opportunities for managers to share their time and expertise with others.

Scott Wardrop, Chief Executive of Eurovia UK, said:

“It is vital that more people are given opportunities, so I am delighted that Eurovia UK has partnered with Women in Transport to increase the representation of women across the sector.”

Sonya Veerasamy, Interim Chief Executive of Women in Transport said:

"Women in Transport is delighted to welcome Eurovia UK as our newest corporate partner. Our organisations are both passionate and committed to advancing the careers of women in transport and showcasing the diversity of opportunity in our sector. We look forward to meeting our new members from Eurovia UK and helping them build their professional network, skills and visibility through our event and mentoring programmes."

The support of our corporate sponsors and partners allows us to keep our membership fee low and accessible to support all women working in the transport sector.  If you are interested in partnership with Women in Transport, please get in touch.
