The Transport Heroes campaign aims to raise awareness of the great work the transport sector is doing at the frontline to help keep Britain moving during these extraordinary times.
The DfT want to feature people from the transport sector however this manifests itself. There are many jobs that are not so visible but are critical to keep the country moving. Examples they have used are a ship’s captain helping to deliver fuel and a level crossing manager ensuring the railways run smoothly. They’ve also featured transport heroes’ unique way of saying thanks with this video.
If you would like to be involved all you need to do is:
Send an image of you in action (bearing in mind new social distancing guidelines) and a small bio that can be incorporated into the copy to Daniel Isichei, Director of Communications, Daniel.Isichei@ciht.org.uk.
