Diolch i’n nifer gynyddol o aelodau, ein gwirfoddolwyr gwych a nawdd hael gan Trafnidiaeth Cymru a Llywodraeth Cymru, cafodd Canolfan Menywod ym maes Trafnidiaeth Cymru ei lansio yn 2022.

Er mwyn pennu ein nodau a’n hamcanion ar gyfer y ganolfan, rydym wedi uno â Chwarae Teg ac wedi lansio ymchwil er mwyn deall gwaith a phrofiadau menywod yn y sector trafnidiaeth yng Nghymru ac adnabod y rhwystrau y gallwn weithio i’w goresgyn.

I gael gwybod mwy, lawrlwythwch y crynodeb o’r ymchwil a’r adroddiad Merched mewn Trafnidiaeth yng Nghymru.

Drwy roi sylw i straeon llwyddiant ac arfer gorau, rydym am ysbrydoli menywod ar draws y sector ac annog cydweithredu rhwng sefydliadau ac unigolion. Bydd ein digwyddiadau digidol ac wyneb yn wyneb, y cyfleoedd a gynigir gennym i rwydweithio a’n gweithdai yn gam cyntaf tuag at sefydlu cymuned lle gall gweithlu Cymru ym maes trafnidiaeth ffynnu.

About the Wales hub

An inclusive and collaborative community for all transport industry professionals in Wales, aiming to drive forward better diversity and inclusion in the industry.

Thanks to our growing members, our fantastic volunteers, and the generous sponsorship of Transport for Wales and Welsh Government, the Women in Transport Wales hub launched in 2022.

In order to set our goals and objectives for the hub, we partnered up with Chwarae Teg and launched research with the purpose of understanding women's work and experiences in the transport sector in Wales and identifying barriers we can work toward overcoming.

By showcasing success stories and best practice we want to inspire women across the sector and encourage collaboration between organisations and individuals. Our digital and in-person events, networking opportunities and workshops will be the first step toward establishing a community for Wales’s transport workforce to thrive.

• Nawdd gorfforaethol: Mae ein pecynnau ar wahanol haenau’n cynnig ffordd hyblyg a hygyrch o gefnogi Menywod ym maes Trafnidiaeth ac o gefnogi amcanion eich sefydliad o ran cydraddoldeb, amrywiaeth a chynhwysiant. Mae croeso i chi gysylltu â ni i gael gwybod mwy a thrafod yn fanylach.

• Gwirfoddoli: Rydym bob amser yn falch o groesawu gwirfoddolwyr newydd i’n helpu i redeg y ganolfan. P’un a ydych am helpu gyda’r agweddau ymarferol ar gynllunio digwyddiadau neu am alluogi cysylltiadau strategol, byddem wrth ein bodd yn clywed gennych os oes gennych syniadau a/neu ychydig o amser i’w sbario.

• Sefydliad partner: Rydym yn rhyfeddu at y gwaith gwych a wneir yn barod gan nifer o sefydliadau yng Nghymru sydd o’r un anian â ni, ac rydym yn edrych ymlaen at gyfuno adnoddau ac at drefnu gweithgareddau ar y cyd i’n haelodau. There are a variety of ways you can get involved:

• Individual membership: Our annual membership provides access to monthly events, both Wales and beyond. You can obtain your membership here and select the ‘Wales’ region.

• Corporate sponsorship: Our tiered packages offer a flexible and accessible way to support Women in Transport and your organisation's equality, diversity and inclusion objectives, please contact us to find out more and discuss in more detail.

• Volunteering: We are always happy to welcome new volunteers to help us run the hub. From helping with the logistics of event planning through to enabling strategic connections we would love to hear from you if you have ideas and/or a bit of spare time.

• Partner organisation: We greatly admire the fantastic work already done by a number of like-minded organisations in Wales and we are excited to combine resources and organise shared activities for members. If you are interested in partnering with us, please get in touch.
