About the Scotland hub
A platform for all transport professionals in Scotland and beyond, aiming to achieve greater diversity in the industry.
The Women in Transport Scotland hub launched in early 2021. We are a virtual hub animated by a core group of volunteers. We have been able to keep running thanks to the generous sponsorship of Transport Scotland, Network Rail and Project Centre, supported by a growing members base and our fantastic volunteers.
Our aim for our first few years is to organise up to four events online and in-person where possible. We want to engage with a wide range of organisations to identify barriers to success, showcase regional talents and success stories and best practice. We want to encourage collaboration, transport integration, and partner with like-minded organisations or networks to reflect on and equip the Scotland transport workforce with the ability to design the transport solutions of tomorrow in a way that is inclusive and sustainable.

There are a variety of ways you can get involved:
Individual membership: Our annual membership provides access to monthly events, both Scotland and beyond. You can obtain your membership here and select the ‘Scotland’ region.
Corporate sponsorship: Our tiered packages offer a flexible and accessible way to support Women in Transport and your organisation's equality, diversity and inclusion objectives, please contact us to find out more and discuss in more detail.
Volunteering: We are always happy to welcome new volunteers to help us run the hub. From helping with the logistics of event planning through to enabling strategic connections we would love to hear from you if you have ideas and/or a bit of spare time.
