We are buzz are a commercial and marketing consultancy based in the heart of MediaCityUK. Claire, our founder, started working life in the airline industry and switched to buses at age 20, working up through the ranks to become First Buses youngest, female Director at the time.
After working as Commercial Director for First Bus in Manchester, Claire moved on to start JR Buzz (now known as we are buzz) in 2011 to support other transport organisations with their commercial and marketing developments. Buzz grew rapidly and, in a few years, Claire was joined by Hannah and Beverley. The team work on creative design, commercial strategy and marketing planning primarily in the bus industry and support clients across the country with an expert team of associates on board too.
Claire has always been an advocate for women in the workplace and in particular in the industry having faced many challenges to ensure equality herself. A promoter of inclusion and diversity, Claire now brings these elements to work with all her clients and is excited to join Women in Transport to support their advancement of women in the industry.
