Women in Transport North East Hub - International Women’s Day Talk

The North East Regional Hub of Women in Transport is pleased to present a talk on International Women’s Day 2022.

We are pleased be joined by two speakers from the transport sector in the North East:

  • Clare Wood, Director UK Infrastructure at Turner & Townsend - talking about “The Things I Wish I’d Known”

  • Sarah McManus, New Metro Fleet Project Manager at Nexus - talking about “Metro Futures Project”

Clare is a Director for Turner & Townsend Project Management across Yorkshire and North East Infrastructure Division and Hub Lead for Infrastructure in the North East. She has a wealth of experience in both Public and Private sector project and programme delivery with a particular talent and experience of troubleshooting and project recovery.

Sarah is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Sarah is a Chartered Building Surveyor and Construction Project Manager with over 25 years’ experience within the construction industry. She has held managerial positions within Local and Central Government, Private Commercial Surveying Practices and Transport Companies during her career.
