Back for its second year, the Women in Transport Power Breakfast returns with another brilliant line-up of Flash Talks from voices across the transport industry. From seasoned presenters to first-time speakers ready to step into the spotlight.
Join us on Thursday 19th March 2026 at BDP Manchester for a vibrant, uplifting morning celebrating International Women’s Day 2026 and this year’s theme: Rights. Justice. Action for all women and girls.
This relaxed, welcoming event is designed for anyone in the transport sector who wants to learning something new, connect with others and be inspired by the many journeys shaping our industry.
What is a Flash Talk?
This is your opportunity to tell your story, creatively, visually and in just seven minutes.
Using images only, you’ll take us on a journey using your voice and visuals. Whether you’re a confident presenter or looking to build your skills, this is a supportive space to hone your public speaking and share what matters to you.
What can you talk about?
Anything! Your topic is completely up to you. Some ideas to spark inspiration:

A passion or hobby
A project you’re proud of
A challenge you’ve overcome
A practice pitch for something bigger
