Unveiling of the new Fourth Plinth sculpture in Trafalgar Square 

Coinciding with London Sculpture Week, Lady in Blue by Tschabalala Self will be unveiled on the morning of Thursday 10 September as the 16th commission for Trafalgar Square's Fourth Plinth.  

The new sculpture pays homage to a young metropolitan woman and is inspired by a desire to bring a contemporary 'everywoman' to one of London's most iconic public spaces. 

To mark the occasion, visitors are encouraged to wear blue and join the celebration as Lady in Blue takes her place on the plinth.
