Come and join us for a breakfast event at the WSP office in Bristol on Thursday 12 March, from 9-11am, focused on supporting women in their professional development

This year the theme for international Women’s Day is Give to Gain. Our event gives members and non-members an opportunity to collaborate, supported by several organisations and individuals based in the South West who are giving their time, sponsorship, knowledge, visibility and support.

Our guest panel will share insights on:

Katherine Bright

Katherine Bright, BSc, MSc Eng, FICE CEng, MCIHT, currently leads the WSP Local Government Business. She is based in Devon and has over 25 years’ experience of working across local government, undertaking a number of secondment, contract management and leadership roles.

LaToyah McAllister-Jones

LaToyah McAllister-Jones is a cultural leader, systems thinker and facilitator who has built a non-linear career shaped by family life, flexibility and systems change. Based in Bristol, her work spans community arts, executive leadership, governance, and citizen-led decision-making. LaToyah is passionate about inclusive leadership, resilience and supporting women to design careers that work for real. She currently co-leads Citizens for Culture, designing participatory approaches that influence regional cultural strategy

Rachel Evans

Rachel Evans, Chief Operations Officer at Unity5, supporting local authorities and the private sector with parking management solutions. Rachel has had a range of senior roles in software companies focusing on customer operations (support, Implementation and customer success) as well as strategic projects. 

She has a passion for people development stemming all the way back to her first job ever job in HR software implementation and loves to support and grow team members to find their perfect role.

Karen Winwood

Karen Winwood, Head of Holt Recruitment, with a career in recruitment spanning over 25 years. Karen confesses her passion is people and connections. In particular building relationships and enabling people to achieve their career and personal goals.
