Scotland Hub Event: Women's Safety on Scotland's Transport

Women in Transport Scotland Hub is collaborating with Strathclyde Partnership in Transport to bring you an event focusing on women’s safety. Women’s safety on public transport remains a critical issue across Scotland. From everyday commuting to late night travel, many women continue to navigate systems that do not always feel safe or designed with their needs in mind.

This event brings together a panel of voices from across transport, policy and lived experience to explore the realities of women’s safety, the gaps that persist and the actions needed to create safer, more inclusive journeys for all. The panel discussion will be followed by an interactive audience Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to contribute to the conversation and share perspectives. The event will conclude with a networking session, providing a space to connect with others.
