Women in Transport Book Club - Discussing Naga Munchetty’s ‘Its Probably Nothing'

Women in Transport invite you to join the latest members-only book club session where we will be discussing ‘It’s Probably Nothing’ by Naga Munchetty.

In this book, journalist and broadcaster Naga Munchetty talks to healthcare professionals, experts and patients to explore the difficulties women face in receiving appropriate treatment in a healthcare system that too often dismisses their issues and symptoms simply as something innate to being female.

Throughout history, women's pain and health issues have often been dismissed and viewed simply as an innate part of being female. Whether blamed on a wandering womb, witchcraft or still, to this day, being 'all in our heads' – women's health has been consistently misunderstood. As a result women have, and still are, missing out on receiving the healthcare they deserve.

It would be great if you have fully read this book before the Book Club but, even if you haven’t completely finished it, you are still welcome to join us to discuss and debate this informative and important book.

This event is only open to Women in Transport members.
