You’re Invited: Women in Transport North West - 20th Anniversary Celebration
📅 Date: Wednesday 10th September 2025
🕘 Time: 09:00 – 11:00
📍 Location: Castlefield Viaduct, Manchester
Join us as we celebrate 20 years of Women in Transport with our North West Hub - a morning of inspiration, connection and reflection at one of Manchester’s most striking landmarks.
We’ll hear from speakers across the transport industry as they share their experiences working on some of the North West’s most iconic transport projects (full line-up to be confirmed). The talks will be followed by breakfast and networking in the beautiful surroundings of Castlefield Viaduct.
Whether you’re a long-time member or new to the network, we warmly welcome you to be part of this special milestone.
Start your day with fresh coffee and pastries, and mingle with transport colleagues and friends before settling in for fascinating insights from our brilliant speakers:
Anne Marie Purcell - Strategic advisor and change partner in transformation and transport, and former Chief Transformation Officer at TfGM.
Eve Holt - Head of Policy and Implementation at the GMCA.
Alison Davies - Project Director at the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) (West Alliance).
Catriona Swanson - Strategic Lead for Sustainable Transport, Manchester City Council.
Rose McArthur - Director - Transport, Highways, Infrastructure and Climate Change, Cheshire West and Chester Council
Joanna Hill - North West Regional Lead, Women in Transport.
Our host for the morning is Jo Taylor, founder of transport specialist brand and marketing agency, Brand XYZ, and ex-head of brand, marketing and digital at TfGM (Bee Network brand lead).
