Women in Transport at Highways UK 2026
Women in Transport is once again pleased to be a strategic partner of Highways UK as we look forward to launching our “Navigating Allyship in the Transport & Construction Industry” white paper at this year’s event with our partners FM Conway.
The event takes place at the NEC in Birmingham on the 14th & 15th October.
Highways UK brings together the people responsible for planning, developing, managing, maintaining, and future-proofing the nation’s roads networks. It is the UK’s leading event for the roads and transport sector, connecting the entire highways supply chain under one roof.

Thursday 15th at 2.30pm on the Sustainability Stage where Sue Walnut, Women in Transport West Midlands Regional Lead and Director of Technology at West Midlands Combined Authority, will be moderating a panel on Social value in practice: Delivering real outcomes for communities.
Thursday 15th at 2.50pm on the Big Thinking Stage where Shireen Ali-Khan, Women in Transport Research Advisor and Behavioural Change and Engagement Specialist at Active Consulting Group will be moderating a panel on Delivering major transport projects differently.
