From Intent to Impact - advancing equity for women across transport

Women in Transport is collaborating with West Yorkshire Combined Authority to host a special event on 16 June 2026 in Central Leeds, from 13.00 –15:00.

Featuring a keynote address from the Mayor of West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin, this event will bring together industry colleagues, leaders and policymakers to explore how we can strengthen career pathways for women in transport and drive meaningful, lasting change toward amore open and equitable sector.

We’re shifting intent to impact

With panel speakers from across the industry, this event focuses on turning ambition into action, sharing practical examples of how we are making progress and how we can continue to do better for the women in our sector. From attracting new talent to creating inclusive environments where women can thrive, the conversation will centre on tangible steps that lead to real impact.
