Women in Transport and Transport for London (TfL) have a long-standing partnership and joint commitment to advancing women working in transport. As part of this ongoing partnership, we are delighted to announce a concessionary membership rate for all TfL employees and contractors.
The full terms are set out below.
All TfL employees and contractors benefit from a 15% discount on the prevailing annual membership rate for Women in Transport.
Applies to all TfL companies including London Underground and Docklands Light Railway.
Effective from 9 September 2019 for all TfL employees and will continue as long as TfL remains a corporate partner of Women in Transport.
To be paid by the individual member and is an annual recurring subscription by default which is self-managed through the Women in Transport payment portal.
Cannot be applied retrospectively to existing TfL employees that joined prior to 9 September 2019 however it will be applied automatically on renewal providing TfL remains a corporate partner of Women in Transport at the time of renewal.
The rate will only be applied as long as the member remains an employee of TfL, if the member leaves TfL during the term of the membership their subscription will continue until their renewal date. The member will have a choice to cancel or renew at the prevailing full membership rate at the end of the subscription period.
TfL has been a corporate partner of Women in Transport since it was founded in 2005, supporting our work to advance the professional development of women working in transport. The organisations collaborated on the 100 years of women in transport campaign in 2015 and the work of Women in Transport today continues the legacy of the campaign.
